Wellness Is Your Birthright

May is Mental Health Month and our most recent Across the Pond session was not your average webinar. It was a wellness revolution. A full-body, full-mind reset. And if you missed it, don't worry—I’ve got you covered.
We gathered in our virtual sister circle for a conversation titled “Prioritizing Wellness for Professional Women,” and whew… it was exactly what we needed—and didn’t know we needed.
Our guest expert, the brilliant Priscilla Murphy, came through with receipts, real talk, and a whole lot of soul. This wasn’t about bubble baths and fancy face masks (though those are nice too). This was about radical restoration and finally giving ourselves permission to pause.
Beneath the Hustle: What Are You Really Carrying?
You know how we do—always moving, always achieving, always making it happen. But, what are we carrying underneath it all?
Priscilla invited us to sit with a truth we often avoid: the weight of chronic stress, allostatic load (that’s the cumulative toll stress takes on your body), and emotional exhaustion—especially for women who are leading, caregiving, and still trying to breathe.
We talked about the silent burdens we bear and the quiet burnout that creeps in when we’re too focused on “doing” and not enough on being.
And then the chat lit up.
Wisdom From the Women

Let me tell you, the wisdom in that Zoom chat could fill a whole book. And it wasn’t just theoretical—it was lived, raw, and real.
💬 “Everything is not ours to carry.”
💬 “I’m a human being, not a human doing.”
💬 “The same way we book meetings, we need to book free time.”
We heard about Serene Sundays and Whoosah Wednesdays—reminders that reclaiming calm isn’t a luxury; it’s a lifeline. One woman shared how she now sets 7-minute limits on phone calls that drain her. Another said she’s building joy into her schedule like she would a board meeting.
This wasn’t fluff. This was strategy. Survival. And sisterhood.
The “Check-Up from the Neck Up”
The moment that brought the room to stillness: Priscilla’s “Check-Up from the Neck Up.”
It was a guided reflection, a sacred pause. Not performative, not surface-level—but a gentle invitation to really check in. With yourself. With your nervous system. With your inner knowing.
We breathed. We reflected. We remembered who we are beneath the titles and to-do lists.
💡 It gave what it needed to give.
(And yes, there’s a video clip of that exact moment—Access Here. Watch it. Save it. Start your day with it.)
This Is Your Invitation to Reset
This isn’t about “fitting” wellness into your life. It’s about building a life that honors your well-being at the center.
Because here’s the truth:
You don’t have to earn your rest.
You don’t have to wait until the weekend or the breakdown.
And you don’t have to do it alone.
That’s why we created the free Personal Retreat Guide (yes, it’s still live). Whether you take an afternoon, a weekend, or just 20 minutes—you deserve time that’s just for you.
Create your own reset ritual. Put your phone on Do Not Disturb. Light the candle. Open the journal. Stretch your body. Speak your truth.
Let’s Keep the Revolution Going
To every woman who showed up with honesty, vulnerability, and that bold commitment to yourself: thank you. You reminded us all that wellness isn’t a solo act—it’s a movement.
This session wasn’t just a moment. It was momentum.Let’s keep it going.
So let me ask you - What’s one ritual or boundary you’re putting back in place starting today?
Is it saying “no” without guilt?
Logging off at 6pm, not 9?
Booking joy into your calendar like a client meeting?
Whatever it is—start there. That small shift is sacred. That choice is power.
If you’re reading this and feeling like you missed something, come back home to yourself. Watch the clip. Download the guide. Share this with a friend. Schedule your stillness like your sanity depends on it—because it does.
We’re not machines. We are miracles.
And we don’t have to burn out to shine.
💖 With you in wellness and worth,
Gina
